The garage
I went out to do a photo shoot today with Amy who is modelling for my main artist Naomi Conaway.
Amy was wearing a pink long sleeved shirt and a black skater skirt with black boots. We took these photos by Amy's garage behind her house as it was an area not many people go and they are a little run down. I though this would look very good with what she was wearing as the pink and the pastel blue go very well together.
The first set of photos I tried were with Amy next to the garage door holding her cat Jessie. I though this would be good for the double page spread as the magazine is about the individual artists and getting to know them not entirely about music.
The next set I thought just seeing her next to the door would be interesting as it suggests that she is hiding something and that there is more than meets the eye.
These are my favourite from both sets.
I really like these photos as I think he rule of thirds works well. However as I haven't edited them and I haven't gridded them to see the real rule of thirds I may change my mind.

These images would be used for either the double page spread or the contents page as they are quite bright and they match the colour themes suggested by the surveys.
